Lynda is a visionary business leader and workforce development professional with more than two decades of experience bridging the gap between employers, job seekers, and community partners. Known as a change agent and relationship builder, she has a proven ability to translate complex needs into innovative strategies that deliver measurable results for both profit and nonprofit organizations.
She began her career as a recruiter and quickly advanced to Regional HR Director at a Fortune 500 company. She later rose to Division Director for the world’s largest staffing firm at the time. Throughout her career, Lynda has held senior leadership positions across the staffing and workforce development sector, earning recognition for driving growth, fostering innovation, and delivering impactful workforce solutions.
Lynda has served as the Career Services Director and One Stop Operator at the Bergen County Job Center, where she led workforce integration strategies, career development initiatives, employer partnerships, and work-based learning programs. Known for her ability to connect people, resources, and opportunities, she strengthened policy alignment, leveraged data to improve outcomes, and cultivated strong collaborations with educators, government agencies, and industry leaders. Her work expanded career pathways, enhanced community partnerships, and increased economic mobility for job seekers across Bergen County.
In addition to her leadership roles, Lynda has delivered seminars, workshops, and coaching programs throughout New Jersey. She founded FizGIG Workforce Solutions, a uniquely positioned enterprise supporting the Boomer Generation with encore career resources, workshops, and professional development experiences. She is also a frequent speaker and panelist on workforce trends, career reinvention, leadership, and women in business.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lynda is deeply committed to service and outreach. She has held leadership and advisory roles with chambers of commerce, workforce boards, nonprofit organizations, and mentoring initiatives, while also serving as a volunteer and youth mentor within her community.
Lynda holds a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Studies from North Central University and earned her Human Resources Management Certification from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is an active member of both the local and national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
