Our Board of Directors participated in a retreat teambuilding workshop presented by Lynda Wolf in 2023. As a board, we had agreed that our biggest challenge as a non- profit organization was improving communication among the members. Initially we interviewed several candidates for our upcoming retreat and in the process, we were fortunate to meet Lynda Wolf. She came highly recommended by New Jersey professionals among both non- profits and private organizations, Lynda excited the group with the “4 to Tango” demonstration that included each of us identifying our strengths and weaknesses. Sharing with the other board members in a creative and whimsical way, we were able to learn about one another. Lynda facilitated the exercise offering guidance and cohesion. As board members, we were able to pinpoint the committees that would suit us best and in effect, work more effectively as a productive unit.
